She added that this glucose enters the blood quickly, which leads to a sudden rise in insulin levels, noting that the main problem lies in the lack of fiber to slow its absorption. The reports added that this increase in insulin is a major stimulant for the formation of fatty tissue, as excess insulin is used to form fat in the body. She pointed out the role of movement and physical activity in how the human body uses the sugar available in the blood, explaining that when a person is active or exercises, his body benefits from sugar in building muscle tissue, instead of storing it as fat. The reports continued that in this case, refined foods can be consumed in a limited manner, as the body uses sugar more efficiently, noting that it is recommended to eat between 25-30 grams of pure sugar per day, as this amount is safe for active people. She added that this amount can also be increased for people who practice intensive sports, explaining that their bodies use this energy to build muscle, which acts as a reserve for essential amino acids for the body.
