The world’s only Tesla Cybertruck with a dual rear-wheel drive system has been revealed. This system gives the vehicle extra traction and improved performance.

Several Tesla Cybertrucks showed up in Las Vegas last week for the SEMA Show, but the most impressive of them all was the one by a Florida workshop called Reed’s Miami.

Dual rear axle setups are usually reserved for heavy-duty pickup trucks, but given all the buzz around the Cybertruck, it was only natural that someone would decide to add two extra wheels to the back.

Tesla’s polarizing pickup truck was converted to a dual rear axle version just a few days before SEMA.

The Cybertruck also features rear-wheel steering, and while it appears that this function has been retained, it’s likely that the added weight of the two large wheels could put additional strain on the system.

Putting huge wheels on an electric vehicle like the Cybertruck greatly affects driving range, especially if these wheels are intended for driving on various terrains.
