Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha offered his warmest congratulations to the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Mohamed Bin Salman, Prime Minister (May Allah Protect Them), and to the Government and people of Saudi Arabia on FIFA’s announcement of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as host of the 2034 Football World Cup.

The Secretary-General expressed his best wishes for Saudi Arabia’s success in hosting this edition of the World Cup, noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia possessed the capabilities and potential for a spectacular hosting.

The Secretary-General emphasized that this is a big achievement for the Muslim world and therefore prayed to Allah the almighty to give the Kingdom unlimited occasions of joy, happiness, benefit, and prosperity.
