The Information Resource Centre comprises two sections:

        1. Library and Business Centre

The objective of the sections is to provide access to cutting edge information resources, facilities and services. It also collects and keeps essential publications for the OIC’s work whether they are major references or publications of the OIC and its subsidiary organs. The Centre has a hall fitted with the latest technology to support the work of researchers and the visiting members of the public.

 

        2. Studies and Training Laboratory Section

This unit provides studies, consultations and information aimed at facilitating and elevating internal efficiency of the General Secretariat through tasks referred to it directly from the Cabinet of the Secretary-General. The unit also supports the departments of the General Secretariat on all relevant subjects by providing high-quality environment.
