Muslim World League welcomes decisions of the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit

Makkah (UNA) – The Muslim World League welcomed with great appreciation the decisions of the Extraordinary Arab-Islamic Summit, generously hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in which the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the League of Arab States participated.

In a statement by the General Secretariat of the League, the Secretary-General and Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa expressed the support of the League and its international assemblies, bodies and councils for what was stated in the statement about the firm support for the Palestinian people to obtain their rights, foremost of which is their right to freedom and an independent sovereign state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of refugees to return and compensation, and the emphasis on the full sovereignty of the State of Palestine over occupied East Jerusalem, and that Holy Jerusalem is a red line for the Arab and Islamic nations.

Al-Issa stressed what was stated in the statement, about rejecting the brutal Israeli aggression; Holding Israel fully responsible for the failure of all efforts to immediately cease fire, by backtracking on all relevant agreements.

He extended his sincere thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the generous hosting of this summit, which comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s persistent and pivotal efforts in this difficult circumstance that the Palestinian people are going through, in the context of the Kingdom’s permanent and tireless efforts to support the Palestinian right and alleviate its suffering.
