H.E. the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, hosted a Ramadan Iftar reception today, Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in Jeddah, which brought together their Excellencies the Permanent Representatives of the OIC Member States, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, consuls and diplomats from non-Member States, in addition to those in charge of the subsidiary, specialized and affiliated organs and institutions based in Jeddah, the OIC Assistant Secretaries-General and the General Secretariat’s employees, along with a group of guests of honor representing various sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as a number of media professionals and writers.

The Iftar reception is an important opportunity to enhance the rapprochement between the OIC and the relevant entities in Jeddah, and to create bridges of acquaintance and cooperation with various institutions.

The OIC is keen to hold this Iftar reception every Ramadan to strengthen the bonds of cooperation with the Member States, the institutions of the host country, scholars, media professionals and civil society in Jeddah.
